Media Tools Used in Inuit Community Project

Google Earth Tour: Google Earth Tour of Nunavut was created to explore and appreciae Nunavuts culture, history, size and beauty . This tour provided students with geographical information, temperature, wildlife and attractions.

Smart Response System: Students can tell you instantly how much they know by the click on the remote control. I created an Anticipation Guide using Smart Notebook to explore what they already know about the Inuit. The "quiz" was a true and false with added opinion questions. After the quiz we discussed and explored some of the questions to guide the students to choose a topic that they would be interested in completeing the project.
